TWO LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD, AMARANTH, BOIS SATINE AND MARQUETRY TABLE A OUVRAGE One by Jean-Pierre Latz the other attributed Each with a shaped hinged rectangular top surrounded by an ormolu rim with a deep fieze and on hipped cabriole legs headed by pierced foliate chutes and terminating with foliate-cast sabots; one decorated with a parrot perched on flowering branches and opening to reveal three silk lined compartments above a deep frieze fitted with a leather-lined writing slide and deocrated throughout with floral sprays, with a silk-lined fitted drawer to the right side, and stamped I.P. LATZ ; the other decorated with floral sprays within a foliate cartouche opening to reveal a subsidiary hinged lid opening to a silk lined interior, the frieze fitted with a drawer to the right side, the underside with two stickers marked KKU 909 and 7/38 27¼in.
