Title: "Two Parisian Models" - set of four etchings of the same art in different colors, signed by the artist Ferlinghetti Author: Ferlinghetti, Lawrence Place: San Francisco Publisher: Sore Dove Press Date: 2007 Description: 4 etchings in four colors, plus colophon leaf. Each etching signed in ink by Ferlinghetti, also each numbered 9/20 in pencil. All housed in red cloth box. 20x18 cm (8x7¼"). "While in Paris in 1985, Lawrence Ferlinghetti etched this drawing into a copper metal plate. This design was Lawrence Ferlinghetti's first etching. The plate was printed as a collection of four hand-mixed-ink editions on American Masters white 248 gram archival cotton rag paper with each edition totaling 20 signed and numbered etchings. The edition was printed in four colors in December 2007 via letterpress on a Vandercook SP-15 for Sore Dove Press in San Francisco in collaboration with Bottle of Smoke Press and Wallflowers Press." -colophon leaf. Only 1 copy located by OCLC / Worldcat at the University of Buffalo, NY. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine. Item number: 280880a
