"While in Paris in 1985, Lawrence Ferlinghetti etched this drawing into a copper metal plate. This design was Lawrence Ferlinghetti's first etching. The plate was printed as a collection of four hand-mixed-ink editions on American Masters white 248 gram archival cotton rag paper with each edition totaling 20 signed and numbered etchings. The edition was printed in four colors in December 2007 via letterpress on a Vandercook SP-15 for Sore Dove Press in San Francisco in collaboration with Bottle of Smoke Press and Wallflowers Press." -colophon leaf.
