* Two Porcelain Articles 19th century the first a peachbloom glazed brush washer, tangluo xi, the exterior covered in a crushed strawberry tone glaze, the interior glazed white, the underside bearing a Kangxi six-character mark in underglaze blue; the second an iron red decorated underglaze blue circular plate, decorated with a pair of striding dragons chasing flaming pearl of wisdoms amongst ruyi clouds, enclosed by a diaper border. Width of wider 7 3/8 inches. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Property from a Private Kentucky Collection Width of wider 18.7cm The brush washer in overall good condition, with minor pits to the foot, and some rubbing at the undersid. The plate in stable conition, with minor chips to to mouth rim, the largest measuring 1/8 inch, and a small fleabite to the interior. Some pitting and staining to the foot, and some wear to the iron-red decorations.
