Der Photograph und Graphiker Bob Seidemann (1941-2017) der vor allem für die Gestaltung von Albumcovern der 60er und 70er Jahre bekannt ist, gestaltete das vorliegende Plakat. – Das legendäre Carousel Ballroom, in dem vorher meist afroamerikanische Künstler wie B.B. King auftraten, wurde im Jahr 1968 für sechs Monate von einem Kollektiv, bestehend aus den Bands Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service und Big Brother and the Holding Company, als ein “laboratory experiment” geführt. – Mit senkrechtem und waagerechtem Mittelfalz. Im unteren Rand leicht fleckig.
