Case and Movement No.54800, Chester Hallmark for 1871 Jewelled 3/4 plate lever movement, 3-arm balance and over-coil spring, cream enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer seconds with Arabic numerals at five minute increments, spade hands and blued steel chronograph hand activated by start-stop in the band, engine turned case with plain cartouche, cuvette with dedication, 'presented to Mr John Burnett, for services to rendered as president of the nine hours league of Newcastle upon Tyne, Easter 1872,' together with suitcase, 3 copies of 'Tribute' by Robert Woodger Bowes, 2 copies of 'A History of the Engineers Strike in Newcastle and Gateshead' by John Burnett, 'The British Trades Union congress History and Recollections volume II' by W.J.Davis, a St. Andrews swimming club medal won by Andrew Burnett October 20th 1882 and another for 1883, various obituaries from different papers and 3 Freemason certificates belonging to Andrew Burnett, unsigned 53mm.
