Dovetailed construction under brass straps, has an inlaid brass escutcheon on the lid and inset hinged handle on the lower drawer; the roll top section opens mechanically by opening the lower drawer, has a lift up writing surface with felt top & divided storage inside. The interior has a pen tray, covered stamp box and 2 inkwell sections, interior back gallery raises up and locks into place with storage slots in the front and open trays on top. Refinished, in good overall condition, has a seam split on the right rear corner about 3 in. long. Desk measures 8.25 in. high x 17.25 in. wide x 14.5 in. deep.
