.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 3840283. Parkerized finish, blued bolt, I-cut high-wood stock. Top of receiver marked IBM CORP. over the serial number with a small AO at the rear of the receiver. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Stock marked RMC B in sling cut, with clear {Ordnance Wheel} on obverse. Barrel marked in three lines IBM CORP. / 10-43 / {Ordnance Bomb}. Flat bolt top, S and IN B marked Type I rear sight, P OB marked front sight, unmarked Type I barrel band with KV B marked swivel, B-EB marked trigger housing, WMB marked hammer. Throat erosion 1, muzzle erosion 2.5. Includes a single SY-B marked 15-round Type I magazine, a Type II WWII OD Green sling and an oiler. Provenance:From the Collection of Charlie Hinton Condition: Fine. Retains most of the thinning Parkerized finish with some lightly scattered surface oxidation on the barrel. Marks in metal and wood remain crisp. Mechanically functional, fine bore is mostly bright, lightly frosted with crisp rifling. Stock with scattered light handling marks and some minor wood loss on the front of the pistol grip where a knot is located.
