.30 Carbine, 18" barrel, S/N 3177960. Parkerized finish, blued bolt, oval-cut high-wood stock. Top of receiver marked INLAND DIV over the serial number. Chamber marked U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1 in two lines. Stock marked IO in sling cut, with clear {Ordnance Wheel} cartouche on obverse and weaker {Circle-P} on bottom of pistol grip. Two-rivet hand guard marked IO on interior. Barrel marked in three lines: INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 11-43. Flat bolt top, S marked Type I rear sight, N marked front sight, blued UI marked Type I barrel band, INLAND logo marked trigger housing, SG marked receiver below the wood line, H marked hammer. Throat erosion 1.5, muzzle erosion 2. Includes a single AI marked 15-round Type I magazine, a WWII Type II OD Green sling and an oiler. Provenance:From the Collection of Charlie Hinton Condition: Fine. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some light handling wear, with clear markings in metal and wood. Mechanically functional, fine bore is lightly frosted near the muzzle. Stock with some scattered light handling marks.
