UTAGAWA KUNISADA AND ICHIEISAI YOSHITSUYA: oban yoko-e (24.5 x 36.4 cm.), a portrait of Ikezuki Geitazaemon in keshomawashi emblazoned with his name Ikezuki beside a 'life-sized' hand print taken when he was in his 18th year and inscribed with the information that he comes from Hirado and is nearly 7 feet tall, yellow ground, signed Kunisada aratame nidai Toyokuni ga (Kunisada changing to the second Toyokuni); chuban (25.2 x 18.3 cm.), a full length portrait in street clothes carrying a large fan bearing his name, Ikezuki Geitazaemon; oban tate-e (37.5 x 25 cm. ea. approx.), another black-ink handprint on a yellow ground of Ikezuki Geitaemon at the age in his 17th year and another print depicting him seated in formal dress making the handprints on sheets of paper, signed Oju (by order) Kunisada aratame nidai Toyokuni ga (Kunisada changing to the second Toyokuni) and published by Moriya Jihei- good impressions, good color, some surface rubbing or creasing, generally good condition (4)
