Engraved title with colored vignette and 190 hand-colored engraved plates of garden designs, architecture, furniture and ornaments. Berlin Katalog 3409. A garden pattern-book that shows an extremely wide range of garden furnishings, etc., largely derived from foreign examples and especially reflecting the anglo-chinois style then fashionable in the Netherlands. The first edition appeared in 1802; later editions in 1838 and 1860.
