Collation: a-y 8 (a1r title, a1v woodcut, a2r prologue, a4r text, x6r colophon, x6v blank, x7r register, x8v subject register, y7v second colophon, y8 blank). 171 (of 176, lacking a1, i1,2 and y1, all supplied in facsimile, and without final blank) leaves. 25 lines and headline giving foliation. Type: 1:109(106)G. (First quire rehinged and other hinges reinforced, small tear in d3 and g6-7 repaired affecting a few letters, a few other small marginal tears repaired, some light soiling, a few light dampstains.) Nineteenth-century sheep-backed paper boards, yellow edges. Provenance : wax seal with initials JB on a2r. SECOND EDITION of a rare manual on popular medicine.
