Geb Gauier, ?, Pikeville, headed 'Hd. Qrs, Left Wing, Bennet's 1 Pa.', contents mention receiving order from Gen. Bragg, problems with supply wagons, etc., 'I have no further news of the enemy, that he is in considerable force at ?ville I have no doubt. The wagons we empty here I shall send back to Chatanooga, but shall not order them to reload and come on after us, unlesss directed by Genl. Bragg.' , with postscript 'Any news of Gen. Polk's movements' with additional 'W.J.H.' initials (AES), very fresh, 7¾ x 9¾" on blue stationery, couple light file folds not affecting signature, very fine
