WESTERN ASIATIC OLD BABYLONIAN CYLINDER SEAL FOR MUNANUM SON OF NURRUBUM 19th-16th century BC A banded agate cylinder seal comprising: a robed king, wearing a cap and raising one hand, faces the ascending Sun god who holds his saw toothed knife vertically and rests his foot on a rectangular mountain; the inscription: 1 Mu-na-nu-um Mūnānum (Mūnānum: 'The little caterpillar') 2 DUMU Nu-ru-bu-um son of Nurrubum (Nurrubum: 'The very-soft-one') 2.63 grams, 24mm (1").
