Grooved walnut forearm and buttstock with GHD cartouche in a rectangular in the middle of the left side of stock; under that is an ordnance cartwheel. Condition: Frame retains 98% of the original blue finish. There are two very tiny minute flakes. Barrel retains 99% of the original blue finish. Handguard and bayonet lug retain 100% of the original blue finish. Wood is excellent, retaining all of the original finish. This is one of the finest '97 trench guns you will find. On a scale of 1-10 this is 9.9.
