Description: WW2 German Luftwaffe Officers Signals Section (Luftnachrichten) Summer Pattern Peaked Cap, an interesting variation being s NCO’s pattern cap which has been upgraded to officer by the adding of bullion cap cords, probably done by the original owner when promoted. The cap is a fine example having the copper brown piping bordering the black central band. Aluminium Luftwaffe cap eagle and cockade. Complete with its fine quality ribbed removable summer white top. Interior of the cap has leather sweatband and green underlined peak. Cap is a above standard quality example with cloth lining to the interior and un-marked celluloid diamond.
