Acquired over many years, the cars shown here represent a small selection of his private showroom. It is said that luxury never goes out of style and the Bentley interiors were as sumptuous as ever with acres of walnut, Wilton carpet and leather not to mention electric seats and windows as standard. Indeed, Bentley went to great effort to ensure that that was indeed the case from fitting harmonic dampers to the propeller shaft to mounting the entire engine, gearbox and rear suspension to their own sub frame. With only 1,703 examples built compared to over ten times that number of Shadows, the Bentley T1 represent something of a collector’s item these days. Shown today in deep blue accented by the classic T1 single chrome bumpers and overriders, this elegant Bentley also benefits from a complementary grey leather interior. Light bubbling can be found over all wheel arches including ‘orange-peel’ on the nearside rear c-pillar. The interior door cappings require some revarnishing but the rear footrests are present. Viewing is recommended as this example will require some work to bring it back to good order. Interested parties should note that hydraulic system requires attention and at this point in time, the brakes and self-levelling suspension are inoperable. INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD NOTE THAT THIS CAR IS NOT REGISTERED IN THE UK AND, AS SUCH, DOES NOT COME WITH A UK REGISTRATION DOCUMENT. IT IS SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY.
