Beschreibung:

From 34 years with its first owner and having covered just 31,500 miles, this pre-injection XR3 remains in lovely condition.
No one could do 'go-faster' quite like Ford and, at its unveiling in August 1980, the XR3 represented a master class in addenda-driven design The whale-tail spoiler and the distinctive cloverleaf alloy wheels both became instant classics 1.6-litre, four-cylinder, CVH unit offered 86bhp and 0-60 in 8.5 seconds (40 years ago) Unrestored and basically original, this early car is finished in Sunburst Red with a factory sunroof We understand that it was enjoyed by its first owner for 34 years Very low 31,500 miles believed to be correct with plenty of history and previous MOTs Original grey interior showing very little wear and no cracks in the dashboard If you missed your chance to own one when it was the world's most hallowed Hot Hatch, don't let this one get away
