Sous une robe signée Pininfarina dont on pouvait louer l'élégance raffinée, la mécanique avait certes été améliorée mais le concept était resté le même pendant presque deux décennies. Son moteur 12 cylindres en V avait par rapport à la 400 son alésage augmenté d'1 mm, son taux de compression de 8,8 à 1 passant à 9,6 à 1. La 412 se distinguait de ses devancières par l'adoption du système ABS Bosch pour la première fois sur une Ferrari. Un système hydropneumatique garantissait à l'arrière de la voiture, un niveau constant par rapport au sol. Le volume du coffre était accrue et le pare-chocs avant redessinés ainsi que l'intérieur. La voiture présentée est gris argent, intérieur cuir noir et a été livrée par Pozzi en mai 1986. Elle n'a parcouru qu'un peu plus de 38400 km et son moteur a été refait en 2008 (voir dossier photos) et ses pneus TRX Michelin remplacés. La boîte de vitesses et l'échappement ont été refait chez Pozzi en 2011. Le dernier entretien a été effectué chez Fiorano Racing en décembre 2015 ainsi que la révision du système de climatisation. Its V12 engine had seen its cylinder bore increase by just 1mm compared to that of the 400. The compression ratio of 8.8 to 1 changed to 9.6 to 1. The 412 differed from its predecessors by the adoption of the Bosch ABS system for the first time in a Ferrari. A hydro-pneumatic system ensured that rear of the car stayed at a constant height from the ground. Boot space was increased, the front bumper redesigned, as well as the interior. The car on offer is silver grey with black leather interior and was delivered by Pozzi in May 1986. It has covered just over 38,400 km; the engine was rebuilt in 2008 (see photo folder), and the TRX Michelin tyres replaced. The gearbox and the exhaust system have been redone at Pozzi in 2011.
