A BALKAN SILVER-MOUNTED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL with iron barrel lightly chiselled at the breech and retained by a nielloed parcel-gilt muzzle-band cast and chased with foliage, flat bevelled lock, wooden full stock entirely inlaid with white-metal wire scrollwork and pewter pellets, silver spurred pommel cast and chased in high relief against a nielloed ground, the top side of the butt enriched with silver beads with nielleod silver square-shaped panel and two diamond-shaped panels, and two corals, engraved and silver-damascened iron trigger-guard, and false ramrod; and a Balkan miquelet-lock pistol with iron barrel, lock with pierced bridle and white-metal finger-guard, white-metal full stock with slightly curved butt and bulbous pommel, decorated overall with foliage in high and low relief, the trigger-guard and sleeve around the muzzle en suite, and false ramrod (iron parts on both pistols with light surface rust), both 19th Century 20½in. and 20in. (2)
