A finely detailed exhibition standard 7¼in. gauge model of the G.W.R. Class 1101 0-4-0 Dock tank "Sisyphus", originally built by the Avonside Engine Compagny, Bristol
A finely detailed exhibition standard 7¼in. gauge model of the G.W.R. Class 1101 0-4-0 Dock tank "Sisyphus", originally built by the Avonside Engine Compagny, Bristol and modelled by B. G. Jackson, 1974, with brazed copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, snifting, clack, blowdown and other valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walshaert's valve gear, finely fluted motion, footplate-controlled draincocks, mechanical lubricators, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, hand operated brake gear, wooden cab floor, the inside of the cab fully planked and with opening windows, sanding boxes and pipework, tank vents and filler caps, riveting, dummy whistle, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps, opening cab doors, finished in G.W.R. green livery and lining -- 48.3 x 98cm. (19 x 38in.)
