A GERMAN SILVER EWER AND BASIN MARK OF ABRAHAM DRENTWETT AUGSBURG, 1761-63 The basin shaped oval and with reeded rim, the basin helmet shaped on domed foot and with overall spiral fluting, each piece engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, the basin marked on border, the ewer marked near rim the ewer 8¾ in. (22 cm.) high the basin 14¼ in. (36 cm.) wide 32 oz. (1,008 gr.) The arms are those of Friedrich Wilhelm (1727-1789) Freiherr von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg, as Prince-Bishop of Hildesheim, near Hanover. (2)
