A large and imposing Chinese rhinoceros horn libation cup, the exterior deeply carved with four chilong dragons amidst bamboo and lingzhi fungus, the handles formed as bamboo stems, raised on a low reticulated foot, 17th century, 19cm wide, 11.1cm high. Provenance: Acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
