A MASSIVE CHINESE GOLD AND SILVER INLAID ARCHAISTIC INCENSE BURNER QING DYNASTY With a compressed circular body with six flanges, decorated with taotie masks inlaid with gold and silver beneath a band of archaistic mythical beasts on a dense diaper ground, the flared neck with a band of lappets and two high handles with circular bosses rising from the rim, all raised on three curved feet, 56.5cm high, 32kg. Provenance: from the collection of Sir Henry Norman (1858-1939). 清 銅錯金銀仿古雙耳三足大香爐 來源:Henry Norman先生(1858-1939)舊藏 Norman先生是英國新聞記者及自由主義政治家,曾經周遊世界并寫下兩本遊記。退休之後他成為了英國議會議員。
