Property of a Distinguished Spanish Private Collection A PAIR OF PINK BRECCIA PERNICE MARBLE FONTS, PROBABLY SPANISH, 18TH CENTURY the circular tazze with gadrooned bodies above baluster shaped stems on stepped square bases, minor differences to size one 115cm. high, 71cm. diameter; 3ft. 9¼in., 2ft. 4in.; the other 115cm. high, 73cm. diameter; 3ft. 9¼in., 2ft. 4¾in. Both with chipping to the edges, some with associated refills.Each support with chipping, especially noticeable to top edges and corners of base. One vase with a horizontal break to the top, now repaired, and another break just below the baluster shape, now repaired. The other support with one side with various noticeable chips and colour fading.These two fonts are impressive and of charming pink colour.each support: approx. 98cm. highOne bowl: 73cm. diameterOther bowl: 71cm. diameterAs visible in the lot image, the width and depth of each base slightly differs.
