A seven-piece silver tea and coffee service marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1896, with scratched inventory number 7754 The bowl shaped bodies of the tea-pot, coffee-pot, two-handled sugar bowl and milk jug with concave shoulders and together with the two-handled oval cake basket, each on paw feet, with wave design frieze and moulded, chased and engraved laurel festoon around the spouts or handles, the first three with hinged stylized leaf and berry covers, and later wooden finials, the coffee-pot, tea-pot, and milk jug with carved wooden scroll handles, together with similarly decorated strainer and tongs, gilt interiors, fully marked the coffee-pot 8 in. (20.2 cm.) high 104.2 oz. (3,241 gr.) gross (7)
