A SMALL PALE GREENISH-WHITE AND BROWN JADE DISC, BI LATE EASTERN ZHOU/WESTERN HAN DYNASTY, 3RD-2ND CENTURY BC Both sides carved in low relief with comma spirals within narrow inner and outer borders, the semi-translucent stone highly polished and with areas of dark brown alteration; together with two flat discs, early Eastern Zhou and Han dynasty, the larger of semi-translucent pale olive-green color, both sides carved with dragon heads in profile and scrolls as well as cross-hatching, the smaller of semi-translucent grey-green color with blackish markings, engraved on both sides with abstract bird scrolls with areas of cross-hatching 2¼ and 3 in. (5.7 and 7.6 cm.) diam. (3)
