Frontispiece portrait after a water color by George Clint 12¼x9 & 9¾x7¼, vellum backed gray boards and wrappers, both volumes housed in individual compartments in a single slipcase. No. 3 of 150 hand-numbered copies privately printed for William Andrews Clark, Jr., by John Henry Nash The first of a series of classical reprints which Mr. Clark presented to his book loving friends at Christmastime, for a number of years. In each case, an exact facsimile of the first edition was issued, with the new Nash reprint. Lot Amendments Condition: Edges sunned, light wear; near fine. Item number: 246794
