a collection of finely executed vignettes recording numerous London shows in the 1920s, including Sybil Thorndike, Grock and Karsavina in La Tosca at the Coliseum, July 7th, 1922, others at the Coliseum, the Hippodrome, and Daly’s including Round in 50, Hassan, Madame Pompadour, Russian dancersand others, also several recording the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in May, 1924, with others of non-theatrical interest recording weekend visits to country houses and trips abroad, pen and ink with watercolour, 28 sheets of several vignettes or individual figures of theatrical interest, of which 18 on the letterhead of 3 Elm Row, Hampstead, several other sheets of alternative letterheads or plain, a few bearing parts of letters, two addressed to Dearest Pal, one signed Madge , all tipped into a stiff leaved, half-morocco, album, worn, boards detached, 4to, 1920s.
