The reverse is covered with wallpaper, which was customary for the artist. A blank Grandma Moses business card is affixed to the wallpaper backing. Minor frame rubbing and wear along the edges. An apparent split in the paint surface and 1/4 x 1/4 inch area of inpaint at the left edge, at the juncture of the blue mountain and tree with orange foliage. The Masonite support is raised along this juncture, but the wallpaper backing is not disturbed. A pin or tack hole lies approximately 1 inch below this area, with no associated inpaint. The note by Forrest Moses reads: Nov. 21, 1969 / This painting size approximately 15 1/2 x 20 showing 2 men fishing on right (fish on lines) a man walking on right with flag; on the left a man walking and 3 people on boat. This painting a lake scene was painted by my mother Anna Mary Robertson (Grandma Moses in 1952. It was given to Eagle Bridge Community Club and is currently the property of Frank W. Pekins, Salem, N.
