Lot consists of (A) Manufactured 1914. Springfield 1903 Rifle caliber .30-06 with barrel marked SA 3-14. Walnut finger groove buttstock with type 3 handguard. Smoth butt plate. Stock is lightly cartouched SA SPC in large box on left side. World War II period flat rear sight adjustment knobs. Milled trigger guard. CONDITION: Good as arsenal rebuilt for World War II issue. Bore is worn but has strong rifling. Stocks are lightly sanded but markings remain. Exterior finish is a light parkerized finish with period edge wear. Action operates properly. (B) Manufactured 1911. Springfield Model 1903 rifle, caliber .30-06, with barrel dated 7-11. Finger groove walnut stock with no cartouches or markings. Type 3 handguard. Smooth buttplate, milled trigger assembly. CONDITION: Fair. Dark bore with indiscernible rifling. Stock is sanded, exterior finish is mottled patina mixed with blue. Proper concave small rear sight adjustment knobs. Action operates properly.
