Subjects include a store interior; a view of a department store covered in Christmas advertisements, with a crown standing outside to witness "Santa Claus Arriving in Cin." or one of three daily "X-mas Pantomimes" in the glass-front display area on the second floor; the Highland House at the top of the incline in Mt. Adams; a view down Taylor Alley; a view down Lodge Alley, running from Sixth to Seventh between Vine and Walnut, showing a lodging house directly across the street from a house offering "Colored Lodging," with two African-American men looking at the camera; a view of three ladies and two men in "Alcove to Tenement Houses, 6th St."; two views of tenement houses in the West End; view of the Fred Hamann tavern and other business, with photo credit to Krieg; photographic print of an illustration of federal troops marching past one of the Cincinnati market houses; a mother and children on their small flatboat home along the banks of a frozen Ohio River; a view of the Pan-Handle Passenger Station (Pennsylvania RR and Louisville & Nashville RR depot) at the corner of Butler & Pearl Streets; the steps leading to the Immaculata Church in Mt.
