Title: Collection of 8 cyanotypes of the Southwest and of the Pueblos, framed Author: Lummis, Charles F. Place: Publisher: Date: [c. 1910] Description: With 8 blue-tinted cyanotype photographs, most measuring 6¾x4¼". Framed with single matting (cut-out sections for each photo). 27¾x23½" overall. These images are apparently the work of Charles F. Lummis (1859-1928), in his style, time period, and area of interest; plus his name is hand-written on the verso. Shows various Pueblo Indians (including women with their babies) and other local people of the American Southwest area, including a group photo taken within a small walled city (Mission-like appearance), a farming scene, and a set of train tracks splitting into two routes. Only one photograph is lettered in the negative with "216. Burro" showing the close-up of a burro. Not examined outside of frame. Lot Amendments Condition: Very light wear overall, near fine or better. Item number: 156895
