Opened-out, official envelope from the 2nd Corps of the 1st Division of the 5th Army of the Red Forces at Ning Tu, Kiangsi and addressed "Mr Ling Yu-hsiang, in the family of Chiang Chi-chung, care of the Soviet government in the first village of the sub district of Wengkang in the western part of Ping Chiang, Hunan" and bears a fine, large margined example of the 3c. yellow-green tied by large, double oval Ning Tu handstamp in red and Li Tien branch station c.d.s. in bright crimson whilst the cover displays an elaborate array of transit marks including Lien Hua c.d.s., Wu Hai c.d.s., Yung Hsin c.d.s., Lung Kang c.d.s., Yung Yang railway station oval dater as well as oval seals of the military corps double oval.
