Loosely-inserted is a duplicate frontispiece taken from another copy, with conjugate blank leaf inscribed on the recto by the author, "Yours affectionately Arthur Conan Doyle Feb. 25" (a little dampstained). With 5 other works in 6 vols. of related interest by the same author, The New Revelation (London, 1918), The Vital Message (London, [1919]), The Coming of the Fairies (London, [1928], second edition), The History of Spiritualism (London, 1926, 2 vols.), and The Edge of the Unknown (London, 1930), all FIRST EDITIONS in original cloth (except where stated).
