Printer's device on title, woodcut illustrations depicting medical instruments and woodcut initials (some small restorations on title, first pages lightly frayed at ends, some foxing, staining and browning, small wormtracks in the inner margin of some leaves, marginal holes to final leaves). Contemporary limp vellum (some wear and chips). Provenance: Johannis Bissaighe? (ownership inscription dated Rome 1600?) - few underlining, early annotations and a recipe on the verso of the final leaf.
