Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec1864 - 1901Irish and American Bar, Rue Royale - The Chap Book (Delteil 362; Adriani 139; Wittrock P18) Lithograph printed in colours, 1895, the first state (of two), stamped with the artist's monogram, from the edition of 100 before text, printed by Chaix, Paris, on wove paper, framedsheet: 432 by 620mm 17 by 24⅜inCondition reportThe full sheet, in good condition, with paper discoloration, the pink and yellow slightly attenuated, with soft handling marks throughout, corners slightly creased, the lower right corner with a minute tear (measuring approximately 1cm.), pale soiling to extreme sheet edges, framed. *(A few occasional fox marks and pin holes. Sheet affixed with adhesive to backing board at intervals verso, verso partially examined, slight uneven paper discoloration).
