Awards arranged in order of sequence as worn on a uniform, with a row of nine ribbon attachments denoting additional qualifications below. Includes the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, and Distinguished Service Cross, as well as awards unique to the Merchant Marine. Compiled by Hilborn-Hamburger, Inc., New York, NY, 1944, an official supplier of military insignia for much of the twentieth century. Text at bottom right notes “These ribbons are licensed for display purposes only. They must not be removed or worn, subject to Federal Prosecution." Also with framed printed display of the insignia used by the United States Army during World War I, including the buffalo worn by African American soldiers in the 92nd division.
