Instructions for Forreine Travel shewing by what Cours, and in what Compasse of Time, one may take an exact Survey of the Kingdomes and States of Christendome, and arrive to the Practicall Knowledge of the Languages, to Good Purpose . London: Humphrey Moseley, 1642. 12° (140 x 80mm). Additional engraved title page by W. Hollar, portrait of Prince Charles signed G.G. Very-finely bound in 20th-century red morocco by Zaehnsdorf, gilt stylised floral design set within gilt filets and dotted tendrils, gilt edges, stamped and dated 1907 (joints rubbed and a little tender), modern box. A FINE COPY IN A VERY ATTRACTIVE ZAEHNSDORF BINDING. Another edition was issued in the same year which is signed "Iames Howell" at the end of the title page. ESTC online does not give precedence to either edition. Wing H 3082; ESTC R235107.
