A very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel musical snuff box with watch Box stamped IGRC for Jean-Georges-Rémond, circa 1810 Oval box entirely decorated with engine-turned, black and dark blue champlevé enamel geometrical and floral motifs, three hinged covers, semi-circular musical pin barrel movement with a stack of 16 tuned vibrating blades of grasshopper shape to the left, covered by a semi-circular gold plate chased with musical motifs, two white and black enamel sheets of music, the music activated/stopped by a sliding lever in the band, square blank compartment to the centre, gilt-finished semi-circular cylinder movement for the watch to the right, covered by a semi-circular chased gold plate, two small white enamel chapter rings with Breguet numerals, one for the hours, one for the seconds, box stamped IGRC for Jean-Georges-Rémond 33 mm. deep & 77 mm. wide
