A fine stainless manual wind chronograph wristwatchReference: 50744 Date: Circa 1940 Movement: Jewelled Cal.15134 manual wind Dial: Black, luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, white outer 1/5th second track with 5 minute markers, white inner base 1000 scale, white outer telemetre scale, subsidiary dials at 3 and 9 for seconds and 30 minute recording, white cathedral style hands, white centre chronograph hand Case: Brushed and polished tonneau form, snap on back, crown flanked by twin chronograph buttons Strap/Bracelet: Associated brown leather Buckle/Clasp: Steel buckle Signed: Dial & movement Size: 38mm FootnotesLemania originally began by manufacturing movements for brands including Omega, most noticeably used in their Speedmasters, but soon became a respectable chronograph producer in its own right. Lemania eventually came into the ownership of the Swatch Group and their workshops are now the manufacture for Breguet, leaving the Lemania name to disappear from modern watchmaking.
