Two pages. 21.5x16.3 cm (8½x6½") Gelatin silver print of Jack London and Charles Dana Wright, with dog and horse. 15.6x10 cm (6¼4") In the letter Charmian expresses her deep appreciation for the friendship of Wright and his wife: "As for me--- I am truly grateful for you both. You know that.". Photograph taken at Glenn Ellen the ranch of Jack and Charmian London. Inscribed on verso: "C. D. and Jack London. No. 1. The Making of a Grand Story. Glenn Ellen". Lot Amendments Condition: Some foxing, creases after folding; photograph with three creases and some discoloration to left margin; both very good or better. Item number: 256061
