Cadastral real estate map. 40x60 cm (15¾x23½"). Real estate map of Atherton's exclusive yet understated neighborhood of Lloyden Park, divided into lots. The subdivision is bounded by El Camino Real, Fair Oaks Lane, the Southern Pacific line, and Oak Grove Park, and is traversed by Lloyden Drive, Wilburn Ave., Belleau Ave., Rittenhouse Ave., Snowden Ave., etc. The location of each tree and its size is shown, with a key indicating the abbreviations of what variety it is. No examples of this map are listed in OCLC. On the right side of the map is located the large property belonging to the notable San Francisco banker, civic leader and philanthropis, Herbert Fleishhacker. In 1916, he built his family house on Fair Oaks Avenue in Atherton. He owned the property until 1944, when it was sold to pay debts. He founded Fleishhacker Zoo, now the San Francisco Zoological Gardens, had a leading role in the building of Coit Tower, and built the famous Fleishhacker Pool.
