Manufacturer: Weller Artist: Jacques Sicard Description: Monumental Weller Sicard vase from the Weller Theatre in Zanesville, the work of Jacques Sicard circa 1903-1907. Signed Weller Sicard in gold slip on the bottom and bearing a label from the White Pillars Museum. There has been some restoration at the rim, there is overall crazing and some pinpoint glaze bubbles within the decoration, there are larger and open glaze bubbles around the edge of the bottom. At 33 inches tall, it is very striking. A warranty card from The White Pillars Museum signed by Louise Purviance and Harold Nichols states that the vase is indeed one of those from the Weller Theatre.
