Collection comprising a recipe book for delicacies such as lemon cheese cakes, gingerbread, tomato sauce, sausages, currant wine, curry powder, lemonade, veal balls, boiled custard, elder wine, etc., plus several household recipes, c. 100 pages, partly disbound, original vellum, 4to, early 19th century; a small slender volume of what appear to be shorthand sermon or Biblical notes, contemporary panelled boards, partly disbound, narrow 16mo [late 17th century]; household accounts kept on the principal used by "old Lady Palmerston", and a collection of "Miscellaneous Poems &c", kept in Ireland during the 1830s or 1840s, including "A Review of the Circle at Rockbarton the Night the Chief Baron [Standish O'Grady, Viscount Guillamore] left Home" and "Sketch of the fireside at No. 9 St Stephen's Green" [now the Stephen's Green Hibernian Club] (4)
