32.5" double-edged blade with double 17" median fullers, 1.25" wide at ricasso. Steel guard with traditional pierced motifs. Buff leather-backed red wool liner with blue silk edging and wire-wrapped shagreen grip. Blade etched throughout with floral motifs. Obverse of blade etched with Royal Highlander's St. Andrew, crest with motto, and four-line regimental designation. Reverse etched with Sphinx over "EGYPT", under St. Edward's Crown. Ricasso marked with four-line Meyer's & Mortimer London address and serial number 98609. Steel scabbard. Condition: Blade is in good condition with some scattered areas of oxidation. Hilt is in good condition with some minor cleaning. All wire is present with grip in excellent condition. Scabbard has some moderate wear to plating. A good sword of arguably the most famous of British Highland regiments.
