Volume 4 of significant catalogue raisonné of Joan Miró. "Historically, Miro is led to engraving and lithography by poets. In 1930, he does his first lithographs to illustrate Tristan Tzara's L'arbre des voyageurs. In 1932 he cuts his first etchings for Enfances, by the surrealist poet Georges Hugnet. Since his youth, he has attentively read French and Catalan modern and contemporary poets, before becoming the friend and illustrator of many of them." - Introduction to volume 1.
