Autograph manuscript from an unidentified critical work, with a number of revisions in the text, n.d. 2 pages, 4to, closely written on the recto and verso of one leaf, some smudging, lower right corner torn away with loss of a few words, folding cloth-case, apparently page 18 of a lengthy essay, this portion discussing the physiognomy of Wordsworth, Scott, etc. -- JAMES ANTHONY FROUDE. Autograph manuscript of his essay "Cleopatra," a working manuscript, n.d. [1894], 20 pages, folio, written on the rectos and versos of 10 leaves of paper, bound with two brief ALS regarding the publication of the essay, in half red morooco gilt, rubbed -- THOMAS MOORE Autograph manuscipt of the poem "'If' and 'Perhaps'," with a few revisions, n.d. [paper watermarked 1828], 2 1/4 pages, 4to, 44 lines in 11 stanzas, bound in brown morocco gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, rubbed, with cloth slipcase ; together 3 items. (3)
