Interesting set of this weekly pharmaceutical trade journal still published today. Here present are the very first volume up to vol. 79 (1864-1942). Between 1943-1945 3 vol. of "Tijdschrift voor artsenijkunde" were published. In June 1945 "Pharmaceutisch Weekblad" continued with a "Vredesnummer" from vol. 80 (double)-107 (1945-1972) (lacking here vol. 103-104). Each vol. contains 52 or 53 weekly instalments except for vol. 37 with only 35 instalments and for vol. 92 with 25 unbound instalments and a register, both as issued. The periodical was first edited by R.J. Opwijrda, later on by M.L.Q. Van Ledden Hulsebosch and L. Van Italie. Separately bound in 4 other vol. are the registers of the years 1845-1920, 1941-1942, 1945-1955, 1917-1935 and 1936-1940, 1956-1965. Some vol. with bookpl. W.A. van Bronkhorst . We join : Weekblad voor pharmacie . Ed. H. Van Gelder e.a. Groningen, Wolters, 1883-1887, 4 vol., folio, half cloth (dusty). Complete set of this pharmaceutical periodical and second failing attempt of Van Gelder to create a new trade journal besides "Pharmaceutisch weekblad voor Nederland". His effort only lasted from 1883 to 1887 when Van Gelder started another (third) and last project "Maandblad voor apothekers" which can be seen as a continuation of "Weekblad voor pharmacie" but came to an end 2 years later in 1888. (113 vol.)
