Provenance : Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, marquise de Pompadour (1721-1764, binding, Versailles booklabel) -- Croyatin (inscription in vol. III) -- Thomas Clark bookseller at Edinburgh (ticket). A FINE SET BOUND FOR MADAME DE POMPADOUR and an uncommon edition of Domenichi's translation of Plutarch, not in Adams or the British Library, where Valgrisi's first imprints date from 1583. (3)
