Royal Armorial Bindings A group of 8 volumes bearing the arms of Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette, and of their son the Dauphin, as well as of Napoleon I and Empress Marie-Louise: (Louis XVI). M. l'Évêque du Puy. La Religion vengée de l'incrédulité par l'incrédulité elle-même. Paris: Chez Humblot, 1772. 8vo. Full red morocco with the gilt arms of Louis XVI on both covers within triple fillets, smooth spine richly gilt, blue endpapers, edges gilt; traces of leather dressing on both covers, minor wear to spine ends, gilt on spine slightly dulled. — (Marie-Antoinette). Mémoires historiques, critiques et anecdotes des reines et régentes de France. Amsterdam: Michel Rey, 1776. 3 volumes, 12mo.
